The sweet (SUITE) life...

I want to share some fun stuff from my travels earlier this month. I visited Orlando for a conference at Walt Disney World - and for some fun time off too. During the conference I was able to tour the three bedroom villa (suite) at the Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort! How cool! Below I’ll chat about WHY and WHEN to consider this type of accommodations and then share some videos from the tour!

So, why and when should you consider a villa or suite? Here are some examples:

A family vacation. Do you have a large family - kids and multiple grandkids? Are you looking to gather everyone in a special place as opposed to multiple hotel rooms spread across a property? A villa or suite is perfect for you. To give you an idea, the villa at Bay Lake was two stories, had three bedrooms and four baths, a kitchen, living/dining room, loft area (with pullout sofa) multiple balconies and slept up to 12 people. You can’t get much better if you’re looking to create family memories, on vacation, together

A meeting or incentive group. If you’re in charge of a small team at your organization, what better place to hold a meeting? The kitchen, living and dining rooms at Bay Lake were on the first floor and it was pretty open and spacious with plenty of seating.  This made it the perfect place to gather our group! Maybe your top sales people get first dibs at the beds available in the villa or suite!

A milestone.  Do you have a big birthday or anniversary coming up and you want to celebrate in style? A villa or suite is the perfect way! Think a group of girlfriends traveling for the big 4-0 or a group of couples traveling for a destination wedding…a large suite would provide an unmatched atmosphere for a celebration. Okay, okay, a three bedroom is SO not necessary for a couple traveling for an anniversary or honeymoon. But, we’ll take a look at a one bedroom next time….

So what do you think? Are you enjoying the videos and want more? Would you consider a villa or suite for a family vacation, meeting or big celebration? Drop a note and let me know! Got another idea as to how a suite would be the perfect type of accommodations? Don’t hesitate to share and I could feature you in an upcoming article!
